According to the latest information and photos taken nearby, the situation on the roads in Herzegovina is extremely difficult due to the landslides and floods that hit this part of the country, and Jablanica was particularly affected.

The photos show a landslide on the road Konjic-Ostrožac, as well as rocks that fell on the road Jablanica-Mostar. The Neretva River almost overflowed its banks, further worsening the situation on the ground.

In Donja Drežnica, the Drežanka river overflowed.

A little earlier, the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) Jablanica called on residents to contact the GSS and firefighters for help, in order to use joint forces to try to save those threatened by floods caused by heavy rainfall during the night.

It has been confirmed that Jablanica is completely blocked.

“The police informed us that the railroad was also blocked. You cannot enter or leave Jablanica at the moment. Landline phones are working, but mobile phones have no signal,” said the GSS.

Due to large floods and landslides, a large number of the population is at risk, and according to the available information, there are a large number of injured and missing persons, Klix.ba writes.
