The Republika Srpska Civil Protection Team for the Removal and Destruction of Unexploded Products, in Velika Obarska, removed a larger number of explosive remnants of war.
After an emergency call from Bijeljina Police Administration and the information that an incident occurred, and that there is an injured man from the lighter blast, the Demining Team of RS Civil Protection went out on the field and removed the found explosives.
“Due to unstable lighters, it is estimated that a certain amount of unexploded products will remain on the marked and secured location where it will be destroyed,” was stated from the Civil Protection.
Removed items will be neutralized, for these purposes, in the foreseen location.
This intervention was carried out during the “Rapid Response” action, was stated by RS Civil Protection.
