Last Person in Connection with Mostar Murder detained

Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Criminal Police Sector, have deprived of liberty a person who is linked to the murder of M.D. (1983) from Bugojno.

The murder occurred on February 14 this year in the Mostar neighborhood of Zalik, and a person with the initials S.G. (1999) from Mostar was deprived of liberty. This is the last person linked to the murder of M.D.

During the official measures and actions taken, a firearm (pistol) was seized from the suspect, which is linked to the commission of the aforementioned criminal offense, the cantonal Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

A criminal investigation was conducted on the suspect, and a report was drawn up on the committed criminal offenses of “Murder” and “Unauthorized acquisition, possession or sale of weapons or essential parts for weapons”.

The suspect will be handed over to the acting prosecutor of the Mostar Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office for further action during the day, the statement said.
