Humanitarian Sanela Jenkins was awarded the Isa-beg Ishaković 2013 award last night in the category of patriotism. This year’s laureates were musician Zdravko Čolić in the art category, Nihad Čengić in the category of cultural heritage, Professor Vjekoslav Gerc in the category of science and Beba Selimović in the category of Sevdah.
The Isa-beg Ishaković award is presented by the Association for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Klpesidra, and this year the independent civil award is gratned under the slogan ‘Sarajevo, European Jerusalem’.
Numerous guests from the cultural, public and political life and the diplomatic corps in B&H attended the event last night.
