Šejla Grgić Chandelier klix.baSinger Šejla Grgić from Sarajevo, with artistic name Sheyla, made a cover of the song “Chandelier” by the Australian singer Sia.

Šejla Grgić is a senior student at the Musical Academy in Sarajevo, Department of Musical Theory and Pedagogy. She is one of the founders of Vox Meduza Band which is currently preparing 12 sevdalinkas, traditional love songs.

Šejla was born in Biedenkopf, Germany in 1994, and when she was four years old she returned to Sanski Most with her family.

Sheyla graduated from High Musical School in Bihać and during studying she performed several times as the vocal of “Muzička omladina Bihaća” under the leadership of Professor Adnan Busuladžić.

After she enrolled in the Musical Academy in Sarajevo, she was a member of Ensemble of the Musical Academy “Etnoakademic”, where she was given an opportunity ti show her love for sevdalinka, which represents a unique traditional musical expression in B&H.

In January 2014, Šejla met Roman Kuduzović, graphic design student from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, for whom she says he played an important role in the affirmation of her attitude towards music and art. They started working on various projects as a team, including the launching of “Vox Meduza Studio” and after that the Vox Meduza Band, whose members are coming from all parts of B&H.
