Lukac: Number of persons suspected to have participated in the Attack on the PM identified

lukacMinister of Internal Affairs of RS Dragan Lukač said that in Banja Luka that the entity police identified a greater number of persons suspected to have participated in the attack on the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, on 11 July in Potočari but, as he said, those persons are not available to RS MoI because, for the most part, they reside in FBiH.

The number of suspects is reportedly higher than the number of people who was brought in yesterday by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We expect them to be apprehended and I hope not only for a hearing but also detention and other measures and actions that will lead to clarifying the whole case,” Lukač said told reporters in Banja Luka.

He said that they were not informed by SIPA about yesterday’s arrest of a number of persons suspected for the attack on July 11 on Vučić.

“There are plenty images, photos, sufficient number of identified persons that can be brought in for questioning or to be arrested and prosecuted for attempted murder of Vučić and other crimes including calling for murder, causing general threat, inciting religious and national intolerance and hatred and other crimes,” said Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska noting that all this “is going too slow”, but that he hopes that the entire case would be resolved.

He still claims that the attack on Vučić was organized.

“I do not believe that it was an uncontrolled attack. Planning in the attack can be recognized and I think that the investigation will prove that,” said Lukač.
