Luxury Hotel with more than 500 Rooms to be constructed in Sarajevo

hotelOn the last day of the three-day visit of the business delegation of the Municipality Novi Grad Sarajevo to Turkey, the Mayor Semir Efendic met in Istanbul with representatives of Hedef Group – tourist hotel chain in Alanya.

This group owns 5 high category hotels in Alanya, with more than 6,000 beds in their possession.

Hedef Group has the intention to build a luxury hotel in Sarajevo with the capacity of more than 500 rooms, and it should open new workplaces for more than 300 people. During the discussion, representatives of Hedef Group expressed clear interest for hotel to be constructed in the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.

Regarding this, Mayor Efendic expressed willingness of municipal administration to provide all necessary support regarding the realization of investment of the construction of the hotel. Next few steps until the start of the investment were agreed, and the investment should be amounting to around 60 million BAM, as announced from the municipality of Novi Grad.

On the meeting of the Mayor Efendic with representatives of Hedef Group, they emphasized that the investments in tourism are necessary in our country due to the constant increase of the number of tourists, which is including a large number of tourists from the Republic of Turkey.
