The promotion of the new Business newspaper “Fast growing companies in BiH and region” took place yesterday in Sarajevo, and organizers noted that majority of BH fast-growing companies operate in the sector of trade.

Editor in Chief of the Business newspaper, Alena Ahmetspahic-Foco, noted that the main aim of this project is promotion of work of companies whose business results were improved in three consecutive years.

“We will also write about 100 largest fast-growing companies in the region in a special edition of Business newspapers. We have already summed up the data and those 500 fast-growing companies in the region employed more than 200,000 workers only in the year of 2016 and they achieved total income of almost 29 billion BAM, said Ahmetspahic-Foco.

The President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, Ahmet Egrlic, stated that there is a total of 667 fast-growing companies in BiH and he is hoping that their number will be increased every year.

“The new project of Business newspapers, which is supported by the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, has great significance from the aspect of promoting fast-growing companies, with which, unfortunately, the public in BiH is not informed, and they are also very important as a factor of economic development,” stated Egrlic.

Besides the project of “Fast-growing companies in BiH and the region”, the Business newspapers marked the beginning of this year by entering the market of the region and they will also realize the project “100 largest in Montenegro” this May in Podgorica.
