plenum_sarajevoCitizens from various parts of the FB&H have begun to gather this afternoon in front of the FB&H government for a mass protest that was announced yesterday by the citizens of the Plenum of Sarajevo. Citizens have already arrived at the protest from Sarajevo, Srebrenik, Mostar, Zenica, Konjic, Zavidovići and Banja Luka, and despite the cold and rainy weather, there are already about several hundred protestors.

They have come together to present their joint demands to the FB&H government, among which is the resignation of the FB&H government, the suspension of criminal proceedings against those who were involved in the outbreak of violent protests on 5 February, and the cessation of all processes of privatization and the sale of public assets, as well as a review of all privatizations so far.

Citizens have blocked the traffic on Alipašina Street, and traffic will be blocked until 21:00.

Citizens are carrying numerous banners, one of which states ‘Our Unity, Your Destruction’ and ‘Freedom is my Nation’.
