At noon on Sunday, August 18, at the National Theater in Sarajevo, the 25th Sarajevo Film Festival is organizing a “Masterclass with Alejandro González Iñárritu” – the winner of the 2019 Honorary Heart of Sarajevo Award.#
A five time Oscar® winner, Alejandro González Iñárritu, is the first Latin American filmmaker in history to be nominated for either the best director or the best producer Oscar®, the first to win the Best Director Award and to head the Jury of the Cannes Film Festival.
In a relaxed atmosphere, Iñárritu will share his rich experience and broad knowledge with festivalgoers and media representatives. The event will be moderated by a Sarajevo habitué, the artistic director of the International Film Festival & Awards Macao, Mike Goodridge. The event will be held in English.
Masterclass tickets are free and can be collected in person at the Main Box Office of the Sarajevo Film Festival (Bosanski kulturni centar, Branilaca Sarajeva 24 Street).
