The first and second of May will be non-working days in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

They stated that the first of May is celebrated as International Labor Day for two days, and the non-working days in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2.

Accordingly, employers, institutions, administrative bodies and other legal entities will not be open during the holidays, the relevant ministry stated.

On this occasion, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy congratulated all workers on May Day, Labor Day.

“This holiday is an opportunity to highlight the importance of the human being as the most important resource, and to remind ourselves that the greatest value on the labor market is a quality workforce. We call on employers to respect the rights of workers guaranteed by the Labor Law, and to ensure a safe and fair working environment for all employees”, it was announced from the Cabinet of the Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy.
