prodance“Mediteran kup – ProDance Challenge 2014”, which will include around 1.000 dancers from B&H and the region, will be held on Saturday, 8 March starting at 9:30 in the hall at Bijeli Brijeg in Mostar. The tournament is held under the organization of the dance center ‘ProDance’.

In the main part of the program, Mostar dancers will perform together ‘One billion stand up against violence on women’, and will symbolically take part in an action that supports women all over the world, to mark 8 March (Women’s Day).

One of the leaders of ProDance is Valerija Ćubela. She told Fena that she expects that the tournament will go well and the atmosphere will be excellent, because much effort and time has been invested in the organization.

‘’This is already our third tournament, and we expect more dancers to perform than last year. We also expect a larger public than last year, because in Mostar there is generally very little interest for dance events’’, said Ćubela.

She added that ProDance would organize this year a competition in Latin American and standard dance, and a dance show.
