Meeting of the Minister Đurić and representatives of Thai tourism

FBiH minister of Environment and Tourism Branka Đurić met today in Sarajevo with Thai tourist representative for Europe Supranee Pongpat, and the representative of that country for eastern Europe Marzouki Ali.

Minister Đurić introduced Pongpat with tourist sector of FBiH and about the activities in the field of tourism.

Đurić noted that Thai experiences are always welcomed, and that they can help the progress of this very important economic sector.

”It is my honour that I was able to meet you and your predecessor Pinpradab, and welcomed you to BiH”, said Đurić and thanked Thailand for the promotion of BiH in Thailand which resulted in the growth of tourists from this exotic Asian country.

Đurić said that she is satisfied with the overall growth of the number of tourist in BiH, and there is a growing number of Thai tourists visiting BiH, especially Međugorje.

”We hope that in the cooperation with the neighbouring countries, we’ll be able to attract more tourists from Thailand’’, said the FBiH minister of Environment and Tourism.

Supranee Pongpat thanked Đurić for her time and her selfless support and open cooperation and she used the opportunity to call the delegation of FBiH, headed by Đurić to the international fair which will be held in June in Bangkok.
