In the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) yesterday, a meeting was held between Zeljka Cvijanovic and the new charge d’Affaires of the United States (U.S.) Embassy in BiH, John Ginkel.
According to the statement from the office of the member of the Presidency of BiH, Cvijanovic spoke with Ginkel about the current political situation in Republika Srpska (RS) and BiH, as well as the improvement of bilateral relations and strengthening of economic ties with the U.S.
Also, Cvijanovic expressed full support for the peace policy of U.S. President Donald Trump, which, as she says, is directed toward ending conflicts, war destruction, and suffering of populations around the world.
On the other hand, from the U.S. Embassy in BiH, it was stated that Ginkel spoke with Cvijanovic about the “de-escalation of political tensions and establishing stability for all citizens of BiH.”
“Charge d’Affaires Ginkel looks forward to working with all sides on the promotion of peace, security, and shared prosperity,” it was also stated from the U.S. Embassy in our country.
