Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 12th rotation of staff, returned last week to Bosnia and Herzegovina, after six months spent in the peacekeeping mission of the European Union in the Central African Republic (CAR).
Major Mirsad Dedić, ensign 1st class Oliver Skočibušić and senior sergeant 1st class Slobodan Kecman successfully performed military and humanitarian tasks during the mission of peace observers in the Central African Republic, and for their commitment and work, they were declared the best contingent in the mission.
Upon returning BH contingent to their country, the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina were welcomed in the Butmir camp on March 15 by the commander of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brigadier General Mirzet Lubenović.
On that occasion, he expressed his gratitude to the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the successfully completed mission, the professional and dignified representation of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina abroad, and he especially expressed satisfaction with the fact that they were declared by the commander of the CAR mission as the best contingent in the mission of the European Union, is stated from the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
