13081691_1165915256792762_1603598879_nMinister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Dragan Lukač revealed yesterday in front of the Public Security Station Zvornik the memorial to the killed members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska from the region of Birač. On the memorial is also a picture of the police officer Dragan Đurić, who was killed last year in an alleged terrorist attack on the Police Station Zvornik.

“We must never forget our heroes who gave their lives for Republika Srpska. Unfortunately, so many years later we are still losing lives of our police officers in a way like it happened here in Zvornik,” said Lukač after the revelation of the memorial.

Revelation of the memorial was attended by the Director of the Police of Republika Srpska Gojko Vasić, representatives of the Public Security Station Bijeljina, the Public Security Station Zvornik, the City of Zvornik, Head of the OSCE Mission in BiH Jonathan Moore and many other guests, who later laid wreaths on the memorial.
