Within the marking ceremony of the 23rd anniversary of the formation of the 5th Corps of the Army of B&H at the cemetery Humci in Bihac, representatives of executive and legislative authorities of Bihac, Una-Sana Canton (USC), veterans’ associations and leaders of political parties laid the flowers, recited Fatiha and paid tribute to fallen members of the “Heaven Forces” with the minute of silence.
Mufti of Bihac Hasan ef. Makic said in his address to the attendees that today’s date is one of the most important dates in the history of the city of Bihac and the Una-Sana Canton, adding that he is happy that the high school students also attended today’s marking ceremony, who, as he said, do not have the opportunity to learn about heroic battles of members of the 5th Corps of the Army of B&H in their textbooks.
Delegation of the city of Bihac, the Government of USC and veterans’ associations laid flowers at the Catholic cemetery in Zegar as well and on the grave of Irfan Ljubijankic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of B&H, as announced from the Office of the Mayor of Bihac.
