Metropolitan Krizostom’s Easter Message: May Wise Policies Be the Solution to Problems

His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostom (Krizostom) of Dabro-Bosnia emphasized that wise policies should be the solution to all social and political problems in which Orthodox Christians have once again found themselves.

“This is what politics is for, that through dialogue, tolerant confrontation of different axioms and principles, solutions are reached that are acceptable to all,” Metropolitan Chrysostom stated in his Easter message.

Metropolitan Chrysostom said that the Orthodox people must be what Christ said, “light to the world” and that, shining, they show the way where this world should go.

“With this in mind, let us be courageous and determined and not allow the darkness of hatred and evil of this world to overwhelm and overwhelm us,” said Metropolitan Chrysostom and appealed to all Orthodox Christians to be his witnesses before the people through the resurrection of Christ.

He emphasized that Orthodox Christians do not have the right to return to the time of darkness in which they once lived, but rather that they have an obligation to fulfill what the Lord has instructed them to do, to go and teach all nations the science He has given them and to bear witness to the Risen Christ.

Bishop Chrysostom reminded them that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Orthodox Christian faith.

The Metropolitan called on Orthodox Christians to rejoice and be happy in this, as he stated, the greatest and most joyful holiday because the resurrection of Christ, he emphasized, is the greatest event in the history of the world that has fundamentally changed everything.

“The essence of the holiday of the Resurrection of Christ is Christ’s victory over death, sin and the devil. The victory of love over hatred, of hope over hopelessness,” said Metropolitan Chrysostom, with the greeting “Christ is Risen! Indeed he is Risen!”.
