Mikkelsen and Ostlund’s “Argument” during Dinner in Sarajevo

An artist from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Sejla Kamericshared a video of the conversation between Mads Mikkelsen and Ruben Ostlund on her Instagram profile, where Mikkelsen won the “debate” with a witty answer.

Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen and Swedish director Ruben Ostlund were guests of honor at this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival and were filmed during dinner in one of Sarajevo’s restaurants.

In the video, Mikkelsen can be seen asking Ostlund if he has seen his film “Pusher 2”, to which the Swedish director replies: “Of course I have!”.

“And you don’t like it?” Mads asked him afterwards, to which Ruben replied: “I think it‘s really good”. However, Mads was not satisfied with the answer and said that it was much more than “really good”.

Ostlund, in an attempt to “win” the discussion, asked how many years ago it was filmed, to which Mikkelsen replied that it was almost past its lifespan.

“Yes exactly. And then what happened?”, asked Ostlund again to “reduce his importance”, however, Mikkelsen had an adequate answer.

“I became famous,“ he said with a smile that meant “victory” in the debate.
