Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić announced that today he had a meeting with the Directorate of Electric Power Industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina (EP BiH), mine directors and representatives of the Union of Mine Workers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to him, they openly discussed mining and energy, production problems and the measures they must implement in order to stabilize the system.

“More than ever, we must understand that no company can only look at itself and its own interests. The energy system is connected and only by working together can we establish stability. More responsibility, work and mutual support is needed,” he assessed.

Lakić told the directors, management and all other responsible people that he expects concrete moves, serious plans and teams that will bring results. Those who do not meet the goals, he adds, must bear responsibility.

He noted that the situation is not easy, but assures that giving up is not acceptable. For him, it is necessary that everyone give their maximum.
