Mirko Šarović za AA: Dodik me neće smijeniti, ne bojimo ga se!Exporters of fish and wine mostly benefited from the adapted Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) in BiH. Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic stated that import from the EU is under control and that it is not reflecting negatively on BH economy at the moment.

“We imported cheaper milk this year, but we didn’t experience a shock that we expected at first. We will see when the regime with quotas will continue in the second half of the year, but under the control of the ministry. Besides milk and milk products and meat and meat products, we also imported quality champagne, and the use of tariff lines was 100 %. This is largely related to champagne, but also to fresh grape wine,” said Sarovic.

From a total of 69 tariff lines, 19 of them were 100 % used.

He added that increased exports to the EU and the significant exports to CEFTA countries were recorded in the first four months of this year, but we will have more precise information available on July 1.

At the conference on the occasion of two years from the entry into force of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, the Head of the Delegation of the European Union and the Special Representative of EU in BiH Lars-Gunnar Wigemark said that exports from BiH were increased by 12.5 % in the first four months of this year.
