erdal_trhulj_pricaIn the energy sector, the biggest energy sector reform in the last 50 years will be done until the end of the year. Now we are going to make a decision about restructuring of the electricity enterprises- said the FB&H minister for energy, mining and industry Erdal Trhulj.

Guidelines are made in accordance with the Federal regulatory agency for electrical energy, which will mark the more serious beginning of the two companies’ restructuring process.

“That would mean the lowering of the electricity prices for industry from approximately 10 to 12 percent”, said Trhulj.

Namely, by the separation of production, distribution and supply, it will be shown that both companies will not be competitors with private suppliers and in that way the excess of the work force will be shown.

Then, in the clearest way it will be showed the burden which the citizen pay due to the excess of the employed people in both electricities.

When speaking about the fight against crime and corruption, he touched upon the issue of the commercial industry.

“Even though we face with the problems in the development of the commercial industry, except development, there are attempts for it to be stopped”, added Trhulj.

In that context, he said that the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry of the FB&H handed over “maybe the biggest case” on 28 February, which is the whole documentation to the Prosecution of B&H and to the Embassy of the USA in B&H.

“We expect support from the embassy of the United States of America, because this is a big problem which needs to be solved, and in the end the commercial industry should be allowed to be developed”, said Trhulj.

In the context of encouraging people protesting all around B&H cities, he said that someone who gives fake promises is not a man.

“All what we have done, people see. We are speaking about 3, 4 big sectors. The full implementation of the regulations, which were adopted in the last 3 years should make the conditions for development, which means it will bring good to the citizens of B&H”, added Minister Trhulj.
