mogheriniThe President of the RS Milorad Dodik announced that on Wednesday, the 1st of March he will be traveling to an important meeting in Moscow and therefore will not be able to meet with the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, who is coming to visit BiH.

He said that he is traveling to Moscow for a meeting that was arranged a month ago and cannot be canceled.

Dodik, who is also the leader of the SNSD, expressed regret for not being able to talk to Mogherini and added that the interests of the SNSD at the meeting will be represented by a party vice-president, Zeljka Cvijanovic.

He says that he has nothing against the European path of BiH if the coordination mechanism is functioning as agreed, which means that the RS is visible and present in this path.

He believes that we should believe in the political and territorial organization of Europe, which has to defend the basic European values.

“Regarding this, I choose these values, but I am not prepared to subject any interest of the RS for moving BiH towards the EU,” said Dodik.
