From June 1st, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to enter Montenegro without the necessary coronavirus test or self-isolation and quarantine measures, eKapija business portal reports.

The Government of Montenegro announced on its Twitter profile on Thursday evening that BiH belongs to the countries where there were less than 25 infected per 100,000 inhabitants.

The president of the National Coordination Body for Infectious Diseases, Milutin Simovic, said that Montenegro is not closing its borders, but on the contrary.

“We are opening our borders, in accordance with the recommendations of the profession for a large number of countries, for the benefit of both citizens and numerous tourists who will visit us this summer.”

Neighboring Serbia is still not on the list of countries whose citizens are allowed to enter.

Yesterday’s decision allows Montenegro to operate disco clubs / bars and nightclubs / bars as well as children’s playrooms.

Traffic permits as well as permits for permanent and temporary residence and work of foreigners, whose validity period has expired, are considered valid until July 1, 2020.
