At the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees, the Goverment of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) made decisions on the adoption of four spending programs with criteria for the allocation of funds determined by the FBiH Budget for 2023 to this ministry in the total amount of 45,170,000 BAM.

Yesterday, the Government adopted the proposed Plan of Return, Reconstruction, Construction and Development of Sustainable Return for 2023 of the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees.

When it comes to spending programs, three of the adopted decisions include current transfers to individuals, and the fourth refers to capital transfers to other levels of government and funds.

As part of the transfer for displaced persons and returnees, the distribution of 25,170,000 BAM is planned for six programs. The purpose is to create conditions for the successful implementation of various types of assistance from the Plan of Return, Reconstruction, Construction and Development of Sustainable Return for 2023, i.e. providing assistance to displaced persons, returnees and refugees.

As part of the transfer for programs of return to the Republika Srpska (RS), 11,000,000 BAM is planned to be distributed for two programs, for the realization of the goals of the plan adopted yesterday, that is, the provision of assistance to displaced persons, returnees and refugees in BiH entity RS.

It is also planned to distribute 4 million BAM as part of the current transfer for joint, inter-entity and municipal projects, as well as projects with non-governmental organizations. The purpose of this program is to create conditions for the successful implementation of the mentioned joint projects, with the aim of providing assistance to the displaced people, returnees and refugees.
