More than 67 thousand tourists in November in BiH

The total number of tourist arrivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2021 was 67,570, which is 27.8 percent less than in October 2021 and 131 percent more than in November 2020.

The total number of tourists’ overnight stays was 146,900 in that month, which is 28.6 percent less than in October 2021 and 128.8 percent more than in November 2020. The share of domestic tourists was 47 percent, while the share of foreign tourists was 53 percent.

In terms of overnight stays of foreign tourists in November 2021, most overnight stays were realized by tourists from Croatia (18 percent), Serbia (15.7 percent), the United Arab Emirates (7.1 percent), Turkey (6.4 percent), Saudi Arabia (5.8 percent), Germany (4.3 percent) and Slovenia (3.7 percent) which is a total of 61 percent. Tourists from other countries accounted for 39 percent of overnight stays, according to the BiH Statistics Agency.

According to the type of accommodation facility, the largest number of overnight stays was realized within the activity Hotels and similar accommodation with a share of 93.8 percent.
