Central Bank of BiH allocated 51,260,600 BAM for Republika Srpska, which is part of the first tranche of the Extended Arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as stated from the Central Bank of BiH.
The funds were transferred on the 12th of September to an account in a commercial bank, according to instructions from the Ministry of Finance of the RS, while a total of 102,521,200.60 BAM for FBiH has not been transferred yet, because the instructions for further transfer are yet to be delivered.
“The Special Drawing Rights (SDR) Account of the Central Bank of BiH with the IMF with the date of the 9th of September was approved by the amount of 63.41 million SDR, which amounts to 154,321,928 BAM,” stated from the bank and emphasized that this transaction was followed by costs which were excluded from the total amount.
The Executive Board of the IMF approved the loan for BiH in the amount of 553 million EUR on the 7th of September.
