WiFiThe municipality of Sarajevo Center established free wireless internet in selected locations in the surroundings of the building of this municipality.

The Assistant Mayor of the municipality of Center Zlatko Voljevica said that the project is very important for citizens of Center and tourists who visit it.

“This is only the first phase that includes coverage of the space on the Trg Djece Sarajeva, Veliki Park, the area around the building of Center municipality, Plateau Skenderija, Radićeva Street, Mis Irbina Street and a part of Tito Street under the Public Health Institute until the tram station across the street from the BIH Presidency’’, said Voljevica.

He added that free wireless Internet will be available on the bridge Festina lente, on Obala Maka Dizdara, the third phase consists of the area around the National Theatre and Vječna Vatra, and the fourth phase is Park Betanija.

Voljevica said that in the first phases there is no time limit for Internet use, and the speed is two megabytes per second.

“For all users to have access to Internet, we will put limits so that we do not have a situation where only some users have connections. After that, we will introduce identification that would provide certain contents, and the speed will be based on 512 kilobytes per second’’, said Voljevica.
