New Cadets of SIPA took the solemn Oath

SIPA klix.baAt the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in East Sarajevo, eleven cadets of SIPA took a solemn oath yesterday, on August 1, before the Deputy Minister of Security Mijo Krešić, thus officially beginning their work in SIPA as police officers.

After they passed rigorous selection within the competition procedure for admission of cadets of SIPA, eleven attendees attended and successfully completed the primary police training for the acquisition of the rank of police officer, implemented by the Agency for Education and Professional Training of Staff.

Deputy Minister of Security of BiH Mijo Krešić yesterday said that the new police officers are expected to work professionally and committedly, as well as that he is happy that SIPA is reinforced with young personnel. He also emphasized the importance of cooperation between all police agencies for implementation of the law, so that fight against all kinds of criminal would be as efficient as possible, and citizens of BiH safe.

Director of SIPA Perica Stanić said that it is a great honor and responsibility to be an officer in SIPA, telling the new cadets that they are expected to perform their job of a police officer lawfully, professionally and honorably, and that they must always be at service to the citizens.

Stanić also highlighted that in the coming period SIPA intends to build a facility where the Unit for Special Support of SIPA will be situated, as well as that in the coming period SIPA will admit another generation of cadets, thus additionally strengthening the Agency with staff.

Apart from the Deputy Minister of Security of BiH and the Director of SIPA, the ceremony was also attended by heads of organizational units of SIPA and directors and deputies of the partner agencies in BiH.
