During last year, the Council of Europe has, in cooperation with the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence and within the Regional Academy for Democracy, educated over 30 young leaders from the region.

On behalf of the general secretary of the Council of Europe Thobjorn Jagland, the Italian ambassador to B&H Ruggero Corrias handed in the certificates at the closing ceremony yesterday in Sarajevo.

He pointed out that he is very glad to be among young people who wish to work on a better perspective of the Western Balkan countries.

One of the participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina whose work and potential were recognized by the Council of Europe is Mirza Ustamujić, delegate at the FB&H Parliament.

Head of the Office of the Council of Europe in B&H, Mary Ann Hennessy, also attended the ceremony.
