New Protests were held in Support of Dodik and Lukic

Several hundred citizens arrived today in the town of Lapišnica in East Stari Grad for a rally in support of Milorad Dodik and Miloš Lukić.

Those gathered came from various parts of the RS, and among those present were Staša Košarac, Radovan Kovačević, as well as some mayors.

The gathering called “The border exists” was held last week in Foča and Ribnik. Previously, meetings were held in East Sarajevo, Doboj, Oštra Luka and Vlasenica.

Earlier, EUFOR also announced that it was monitoring the security situation in the country, and their vehicles were seen in certain locations.

All rallies so far have been peaceful, and they were secured by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS.

The OHR previously announced that “there are no internal borders in Bosnia and Herzegovina”:

“The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina considered the constitutionality of the term border* in the Constitution of the RS in January 2000 and concluded that the term “border” is unconstitutional. The contested article of the RS Constitution was amended so that the term “border” was replaced by the term “inter-entity line of demarcation”. There is no state border between the entities.”

The Constitution of BiH states: “There is freedom of movement throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.” Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entities will not hinder the full freedom of movement of persons, goods, services and capital throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. No entity will carry out controls on the demarcation line between the entities, according to the OHR, Fena reports.
