Newly appointed Apostolic Nuncio in BiH presents his Credentials

The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, received the letter of credence from the newly appointed Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Msgr. Francis Assisi Chullikatti.

Presenting the credentials, the newly appointed ambassador of the Vatican, Msgr. Chullikatti conveyed warm greetings from Pope Francis, wishing for God’s help in all endeavors of the new convocation of the three-member BiH Presidency, aimed at solving the ongoing challenges that all residents face every day, especially those from the most oppressed and vulnerable groups.

Additionally, Msgr. Chullikatti expressed his determination that the Catholic Church, through its respective institutions and official structures, will continue to promote inter-religious and inter-confessional dialogue, and cooperate with all people of good will with the aim of social, cultural, educational and spiritual progress of all people in BiH, regardless of their ethnic and religious affiliation.
