Newly renovated Fountain returned the Old Glow to Sarajevo Railway Station

The fountain at the Square of Victims of Srebrenica Genocide, which is located in front of the Sarajevo Railway Station, has been renovated.

After being neglected and in a bad condition for years, the fountain dedicated to the memory of the victims of the last genocide in Europe returned its old glow on the place where many tourists meet with our capital city for the first time.

“We started removing graffiti. We are financing the renovation of the Square of Victims of Srebrenica Genocide from the intervention fund. It is not enough to renovate something once and then just leave it, we have to constantly take care of it, and secure the money for its maintenance,” said Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka.

The renovated fountain returned the old glow to Sarajevo Railway Station.
