migrantsZAGREB, Nov.13 (Xinhua) — The situation in the Tovarnik, close to Croatian border with Serbia, were stable and no any problems regarding migrants, Croatian Interior Minister Vlaho Orepic said on Sunday after visiting the area.
There were reports that a group of migrants arrived from Belgrade at Serbian bordering town of Sid and tried to cross the border into Croatia.
Orepic said the Croatian police would fully protect the border from the illegal entry of people and goods.

The migrants would be received in reception centre in Sid, he said, adding if they tried to cross the border into Croatia, they would be prevented by the police.
Croatian police had not closed the border crossing at Tovarnik, local media reported.
On Friday, some 150 migrants started to walk about 125 km from Belgrade to the Croatian border, carrying banners reading “Please, open the border”, “Stop the war”, and “No more war,” reports said.
They said they wanted to continue their journey to Italy and France, it added.
