The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) Fadil Novalic and the Prime Minister of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Edin Forto agreed yesterday that it is necessary to take action as soon as possible in order to reduce the traffic congestion in Sarajevo.
During yesterday’s meeting in Sarajevo, important infrastructure projects in the area of this canton were discussed, with a focus on the construction of new roads, primarily the first transversal and the Sarajevo highway, more precisely the fast road, as the FBiH Government announced.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on measures to prevent the negative consequences of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy.
The meeting was attended by the Cantonal Minister of Transport Adnan Steta, the Federal Minister of the Interior and Member of the CS Assembly Aljosa Campara, and the Director of the company Railways of FBiH Enes Dzafic.
