Official: BiH will start revision of the Judgement of the ICJ and Lawsuit against Serbia

bakir izetbegovicAt today’s consultation which was held in the City Hall, organized by the Foundation for Justice of BiH and the Institute for Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law, it was decided that BiH will start revising the judgment of the ICJ by the BiH lawsuit against Serbia and Montenegro.

The meeting was attended by Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, a former member of the BiH Presidency Beriz Belkić, leaders of the SDP party led by the party president, former BiH Presidency member Ejup Ganic, president of SBB Fahrudin Radoncic, the chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Sefik Džaferović, president of the Party for BiH Amer Jerlagić, president of BPS general Halilovic, president of DF Zeljko Komsic, and the president of the SDA and member of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic, patron of today’s consultation.

The expert team, composed of members of the Foundation “Justice for BiH” and the Institute for Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law, concluded that there is sufficient evidence to start revising the judgment.

The confirmation that Sakib Softic has an agent mandate and that he can start the process of revision was also discussed.

After a short discussion, the present members unanimously adopted the conclusions. The crucial conclusion says that the requirements for the submission of applications have been met.
