At today’s session, the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters issued an order to abolish the curfew in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity, a member of the Federal Civil Protection Staff and Deputy Director of the Federal Police Administration Ensad Korman confirmed. This decision comes into force today.

The Federal Civil Protection Headquarters issued an order on Friday allowing persons under-18 years of age and over-65 to go out, Klix.ba news portal reports.

As decided, it was accepted that people over 65 can go out three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) from 9am to 1pm.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, a decision is made by the Federal Headquarters, movement is allowed for children under 18 from 2pm until the curfew begins at 8pm.

These measures take effect from Monday. However, these measures include complete protection, wearing masks and keeping a distance. Assistant Federal Minister for Health Goran Cerkez said they will monitor the implementation of these measures, and if certain deterioration occurs, it could be canceled.

However, he hoped that the situation would be better and that there would be a gradual loosening of measures. The Constitutional Court of BiH issued a decision two days ago declaring that the prohibition of movement for persons over 65 and under 18 years of age violated human rights.

He did not revoke a previously issued order by the Federal Headquarters to ban the movement for all of these populations, but ordered it to comply with the court decision.
