Sarajevo-OHRThe OHR welcomes adoption of the Decision on Temporary Financing of the Federation as well as the Mostar City related Amendments to the Law on Budgets in the Federation by the House of Representatives of the Federation Parliament.

”Members of the House of Representatives of the Federation Parliament acted in a timely and responsible manner, as the adopted legislation is crucial for ensuring continued financing of institutions but also all other budget payments, including those to the most vulnerable, at the Federation and Mostar levels. For the benefit of all those depending on Federation and Mostar budget payments, the OHR expects formation of the House of Peoples of the Federation Parliament without further delay, so that the procedure of adoption of this priority legislation can be completed,” OHR stated in a press release.

The OHR also reminds that the PIC Steering Board has recently called for the formation of governments at all levels as a matter of utmost urgency, so that the important challenges that lie ahead of BiH and the serious economic and social concerns of its citizens can finally be addressed.
