Oil feverAs a part of the project of exploring oil and gas, the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) together with the partner Zarubeznjeft conducts exploration activities in Republic Srpska.

The analysis of results of exploration works is in the course, and after its completion we will inform the public, as confirmed for Anadolu Agency from the Oil Industry OF Serbia from Belgrade.

Namely, the Minister of industry, energy and mining of RS Petar Djokic said that the oil was found at the locality of that BH entity. Djokic emphasized that those quantities “are not small, but they are still not enough for “NIS“ as a company to start with the exploitation of oil“.

He emphasized that additional investigations are needed in order to determine is it possible to increase the quantity of oil which could be exploited from that drill hole.

It is stated that the example was taken and it is on the analysis now. It is about the drill hole in Obudovac, in “Bosanska Posavina“.

The director of the Federal Institute for geology prof. Dr. Hazim Hrvatovic said recently in the interview for AA that until the end of 2015, a contract on the concession for exploring and exploitation of oil and gas at the BH entity Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina should be signed, and at the beginning of 2016, first field research should follow.

The team of Anadolu Agency has visited some of localities which are supposed to hide oil deposits such as one in the valley od Drezanka, in Gornja Dreznica, Glamocko polje in Glamoc and the locality of Lastva near Trebinje, Ljubinja and Gabela. In the previous perido, numerous delegation of oil companies were there which have even took samples for the analysis in order to determine the existence of oil deposits. In previous years, the trial oil research were done primarily in the location of Lastva near Trebinje and in Glamocko polje in Glamoc as well as in Gabela.
