On Court of BiH beginning of the Trial for Crimes committed

courtNext week, at the Court of BiH will begin trials in three cases, for crimes committed in Rudo, Visegrad, Gorazde and Stolac.

On Monday, the 30th of May, will start trial to Ahmet Sejdic, the former commander of the First Visegrad Brigade of the Army of BiH, who is charged with crimes committed against civilians and prisoners of war in the territory of the municipality of Rudo, Visegrad and Gorazde.

The trial of Mile Pazin, Ivica Markovic and Vid and Josip Kresic, former members of the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) who are indicted for crimes against civilians committed in Stolac, will start on Thursday, the 2nd of June.

The same day will start the trial to Miodrag Mitrasinovici, who is charged with crimes committed in Strpci, near Visegrad.

Hearing of the first witness at the trial to Milorad Radakovic and Goran Pejic, indicted for crimes against humanity committed in the area of Prijedor in June 1992, is scheduled for Tuesday, the 31st of May.

For Monday, the 30th of May, is scheduled status conference in the case against Zulfikar Alispago, former commander of the Special Unit for Special Purposes “Zulfikar”, who is charged for crimes committed in the village of Trusina (municipality Konjic).

In this case, which according to the official website of the Court, currently “stands still” due to the health condition of the defendant,” the last status conference, at which the Court requested a new expert examination of the accused, was held in September 2015.

On Tuesday, the 31st of May will be continued trial to Naser Oric and Sabahudin Muhic, former members of the Territorial Defense of the Army of BiH, for crimes committed in Srebrenica villages Zalazje, Lolici and Kunjerac.

Next week before the Court will be continued trials for crimes committed in Mostar, Zvornik, Bosanska Krupa, Trnovo, Orasje, Konjic, Kladanj and Prijedor, as reported by BIRN.
