Orašje: Damages Exceeded 90 Million BAM

bijeljinaAfter the evaluation of damage caused by floods in the municipality of Orašje, it can be concluded that their amount increases daily. According to the Civil Defense Headquarters of Orašje currently damages exceed more than 90 million BAM.

Till now, it can be concluded that the most problematic situation is in agriculture, which was destroyed in the 75 %. In addition, the problem is because majority of population lives from the agriculture.

Commander of Headquarters Orašje, Đuro Topić said that the Ministry of Agriculture of Posavina canton will provide seeds, namely corn and soybeans, which will be divided according to certain criteria .

“Everything will be transparent and will be distributed in the amount of damages farmers suffered in the disaster”, added Topić.
