Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, is currently staying in Oslo where he attended marking of the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.
In the Center for Studies of Holocaust and Religious Minorities, Zvizdić, together with the Director of the Centre, Guri Hjeltnes, opened the exhibition of Tarih Samarah “Abandoned in Srebrenica – the 20th Anniversary” and said that even after 20 years that have passed, Srebrenica is still causing infinite sadness.
He emphasized that, when it comes to B&H, however, the intention of Bosnian people to continue to build a common life and future have won, adding that no one must never forget Srebrenica. He said that Srebrenica is a message to Europe and the whole civilized world to never let suffering of Srebrenica people to happen again.
Zumra Šehomerović, the women from Srebrenica who survived the genocide, Amor Mašović, Anton Weiss – Wendt, the head of the research team of 20 years after Srebrenica at the Center for Holocaust Studies, and the Ambassador of B&H to Norway, Emir Poljo, attended the opening of the exhibition as well, as announced from the Council of Ministers.
