The Central Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Decision on determining and publishing the number of voters registered in the excerpt from the Central Voters List for voting outside the country for the General Elections in 2022, a total of 69,872 voters.

At the same session, 10,749 voters were refused entry in the extract from the Central voter list for voting outside Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Appeals against the aforementioned decisions, which are published yesterday on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, can be submitted to the Appellate Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina until Saturday, August 6, 2022. until midnight.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina will pay slightly more than 850,000 BAM to the postal service for the delivery of election materials for this year’s general elections to voters abroad.

The contract on postal services for the delivery of election materials for voting outside BiH to the address of voters abroad via registered mail was concluded with three postal operators in BiH – Posta Srpska, BH Post from Sarajevo and Croatian Post from Mostar.

The selection of the most favorable supplier for the service of postal delivery of election materials to voters abroad was carried out through a negotiation process, and the invitation was sent to the aforementioned postal operators, who submitted their offer in the form of a group of bidders.

The final price for the aforementioned services is 851,375 BAM and refers to the delivery of around 80,000 parcels with election materials to voters abroad, as stipulated in the tender documentation.

Postal operators pointed out in the negotiation process that they cannot lower the offered price, which per shipment is the same as in the previous elections, because during the implementation of the contract they expect an increase in service prices, so the price difference would be at their expense.

The largest number of shipments will be distributed in Europe, the second zone is the USA and Canada, and the farthest zone to which the election material will be delivered is Australia.

The CEC stated that the offered amount is within the planned funds for this purpose.

The decision to enter into a contract with postal operators for delivery of election materials to voters abroad by registered mail was made at the session of the CEC on Thursday, July 28.
