The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, said today in Pristina that his country fully supports Kosovo’s integration into NATO.
As announced by the government in Skopje, Xhaferi pointed out that North Macedonia fully supports Kosovo and its strategic goal of integration into NATO, especially considering the current geopolitical context and current military operations in Ukraine and the Middle East.
The Prime Minister of North Macedonia said this during a visit to the private “AAB College” in Pristina in a lecture to students on the topic “Friendly relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia”.
Speaking about North Macedonia’s support for Kosovo’s European integration path, as well as membership in international organizations and initiatives, Xhaferi expressed his belief that this support will never be absent.
“As representatives of the state and compatriots, we do not miss any opportunity to support membership, participation or at least securing observer status for the Republic of Kosovo,” said the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi.
In his presentation to the students, Prime Minister Xhaferi pointed out that “the bilateral political relations of the two countries are characterized by an open and constructive dialogue, as well as productive and fruitful cooperation in all areas of common interest”, as well as “the exchange of experiences and cooperation in the integration processes in NATO and the EU, as essential for the entire region of the Western Balkans”.
