Police displaced over One Thousand Migrants to Vucjak Camp (video)

The Interior Ministry of the Una-Sana Canton launched an action to displace illegal migrants from Bihac on Tuesday.

All those who stayed in abandoned and non-registered accommodation facilities as well as in public areas were transferred to Vucjak camp.

According to USKinfo, some 500 migrants were transferred until 4 pm, followed by another 250. However, the editorial board then received a video showing police leading a column of as many as 1,000 people.

Upon their return, the journalists noticed two more buses carrying at least a hundred migrants.

USKinfo reports that Vucjak could currently house between 1,500 and 2,000 people, with up to 1,000 of them currently staying there.
