Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Zlatko Lagumdžija received yesterday the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eid M. Althakafi.
They both expressed satisfaction with the good bilateral relations between the two countries, and the political, moral and material support that Saudi Arabia lends to B&H, announced the B&H Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister Lagumdžija said that the good cooperation is characterized by the efforts for the regulation of contractual regulations, and hopes that an agreement would be signed soon on avoidance of double taxation, which is one of the basic agreements governing economic cooperation of countries.
Minister Lagumdžija expressed satisfaction with the successful performance of Saudi Arabia at the Sarajevo Business Forum, due to the large number of agreements signed, presented investment projects and the opportunities that are provided in B&H, and expressed the readiness to initiate frequent meetings of bigger and smaller business organizations to intensify economic cooperation.
Lagumdžija expressed gratitude for the new loan of 18 million dollars from the Saudi Fund for Development that is intended to solve problems of returnees in B&H.
They exchanged view on the events in countries in the Middle East, with a special emphasis on the situation in Egypt.
