Preparation of Construction of Thermal Power Plant Banovići

TE_BanoviciThe FB&H government adopted at a session the information on activities for the preparations and realization of a program for the construction of a thermal power plant Banovići.

The information stated that it completed the production of technical documentation for this project, which includes the construction of a pre-feasibility study, which showed the justification of such a building that would include the development of the mine Banovići. To this end, more than 100 million BAM have been invested in new equipment for the mine.

With the pre-feasibility study and the decision of the FB&H government, the approximate power blocks from 200 MW have been defined. Until now, permits and approvals for the construction of the thermal power plant have been obtained, and a public call for the selection of a strategic partner in the project have been obtained. The total estimated investment value is 584.222.528 Euros, and the completion of the construction of the thermal hydro power plant is 2018, announced the Press Office of the FB&H government.
