Preparations have begun for the opening of the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival, a festival that traditionally attracts cinematography stars from the region and the world, as well as a large number of tourists, to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Work is underway on the plateau in front of the Sarajevo National Theater (NPS), the central location of all Sarajevo Film Festival events and a meeting place for film professionals.

A large movie screen was erected at Metalac (Coca-Cola summer cinema). In that cinema, a series of screenings and meetings of filmmakers will take place. Watching movies under the open sky is a special festival experience.

This year’s edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival will be held from August 15 to 22. Online pre-sale of tickets for films in the program of the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival begins on Monday, August 4, at 3 p.m. and is valid for Mastercard card users. Regular online ticket sales begin on Tuesday, August 5, at 3 p.m.
