Presidency of BiH held a regular Session

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina tasked the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to prepare and submit to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina for adoption a new security policy of Bosnia and Herzegovina within six months in cooperation with competent agencies and other competent institutions.

At the 11th regular session, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina received information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the publication of the text of the amendment to the treaty between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro on the avoidance of double taxation in relation to income and property taxes.

The BiH Presidency received information from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH on the implementation of bilateral agreements on the promotion and protection of investments concluded by Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BiH Presidency received information on the implementation of Annex D of the Agreement on succession issues of the former SFRY and tasked the BiH Council of Ministers to submit a comprehensive report on the implementation of the Agreement on succession issues with proposed measures within six months.

The BiH Presidency accepted the Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Italy on economic cooperation, the Grant Agreement – Western Balkans Investment Framework Grant (WBIF) – Co-financing of the Sava and Drina Corridor Integrated Development Program using a multi-phase program approach between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Association for Development as the leading financial institution for the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans, Amendment No. 3 to the Financing Agreement concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and the European Investment Bank – “Financing Agreement” – Hospital Project in RS/B, as well as the Memorandum on understanding and cooperation in the field of youth between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Turkey.

The BiH Presidency also adopted a report on the activities so far regarding the demarcation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on the initiation of negotiations for the conclusion of the Agreement on Amendments to the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on border crossings and the Annex to the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on joint locations at border crossings for a joint location at the Rača – Sremska Rača border crossing.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has accepted to be the sponsor of the AHK Automotive Summit, which will be held on April 18, 2024 in Sarajevo, it was concluded in a statement from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
