President of Croatia Will Arrive in BiH for Official Visit

ivo JosipovicThe President of Croatia Ivo Josipović will be on an official visit to BiH from 8-9 July. This will be his first official foreign visit after Croatia’s accession to the EU.

The Croatian President will speak on Monday with the Chairman and members of the BiH Presidency. He will meet with members of both houses of the BiH Parliament, and will attend a working dinner with the BiH Prime Minister, ministers in his government and president of entity government, announced Hina.

On Tuesday morning, the Croatian President will visit Brčko District and will speak with leaders and visit the construction site of the bridge along the Sava river, which is being built along with Corridor 5C.

On the same day Josipović will go to Tuzla to speak with leaders of this city and cantons, and he will meet with Croat representatives in Tuzla Canton.

He will also visit the future Croatian Center that is under renovation and he will light a candle in front of the memorial plaque on the Square “Prekinute Mladosti” that was placed in honor of the 71 young people who died in that place in 1995.

At the end of the visit, he will take part in the signing of the agreement on cooperation between Tuzla University and Zagreb University.
